Breaking Down Investment Basics

Starting with investments feels overwhelming. We'll walk through the fundamentals in plain language—what different investment types actually mean and how to think about risk without panicking.

Tax Season Prep Without the Stress

Nobody likes surprises in April. This session covers what you should be tracking now, common deductions people miss, and how to organize your documents so tax time doesn't become a nightmare.

Retirement Planning for Regular People

Retirement calculators always show scary numbers. We'll talk about realistic approaches, what RRSPs and TFSAs actually do, and how to start saving even when your budget feels tight.

Interactive Learning That Sticks

These aren't passive lectures where you zone out after ten minutes. Every webinar includes live Q&A, real-world scenarios, and practical takeaways you can apply the next day.

We keep groups intentionally small—usually around 30-40 participants. That way, everyone who has a question gets heard. And honestly? The questions other people ask often turn out to be the most valuable part of the session.

Past attendees tell us they appreciate how we don't dodge the messy parts. Financial planning isn't always clean and simple, so we talk about the trade-offs, the things that depend on your situation, and the decisions that don't have perfect answers.

What to Expect When You Join

Each session runs about 90 minutes with a mix of presentation and discussion. We start on time, respect your evening, and always save room for the questions that matter to you.

First 40 Minutes: Core Content

We cover the main topic with clear explanations and real examples. Slides are visual—no walls of text—and we share screen recordings afterward so you can review anything you need.

Middle 30 Minutes: Scenario Walkthrough

This is where we dig into a realistic case study. Something like "Rowan just got a raise—what should they do with the extra $500 a month?" We explore different approaches and their long-term impact.

Final 20 Minutes: Open Discussion

Your turn to ask what's been on your mind. Whether it's about your specific situation or general confusion about something we covered, this time is yours. Most sessions run a bit over because the conversations get good.

Who's Leading These Sessions

Our webinars are hosted by financial educators who've been teaching this stuff for years. They know how to explain complex topics without talking down to people, and they're genuinely interested in your questions.

Callum Vesterinen

Investment Education Lead

Callum spent a decade working with first-time investors before joining us. He's particularly good at explaining market volatility in ways that don't cause panic, and his "investment myths" segment has become a favorite among attendees.

Dexter Laitinen

Tax Strategy Advisor

Dexter makes tax planning almost entertaining, which is saying something. He focuses on practical strategies that work for regular earners and small business owners, and he's never met a tax question he couldn't answer clearly.
